A waterproof shop mat keeps the spill up on top, right where your boot finds it. The Magic Carpet® Work Mats and Surface Protection Collection takes the opposite approach. Oil, coolant, and water get wicked down into the material and spread out so nothing pools on top.
How the absorbent core works
Liquid passes through the surface into a patented recycled textile core. The core spreads it across a wider area so it spreads well beyond the footprint of the spill instead of sitting in a puddle waiting to be stepped in. The mat stays low profile, shrugs off dropped tools and hardware, and cushions your knees and back while you work.

Wash it, reuse it, keep it
Hand wash it, hang it to dry, and it is ready for the next job. Made in Medina, New York from 100% recycled polyester, so you are not buying disposable pads by the case.
This is the same material used in the pet line. It was built for a job site first, which is why it holds up to claws and punctures just as well as it holds up to dropped wrenches.
