Kneeling Pad for Garden, Garage & Work

A foam kneeling pad is comfortable for about a month. Then it compresses, tears on the first nail it meets, and holds water like a sponge. The Magic Carpet® Kneeling Pad is a firm needlepunched textile that does not pancake, does not shred on gravel or concrete, and soaks up the damp under your knees instead of sitting in it.

What makes it different from a foam kneeling pad

Foam works by trapping air, and every knee-down squeezes some of that air out for good. The Magic Carpet® is dense compacted felt. It gives a little under your weight and comes back. It is strong and puncture-resistant, so thorns, screws, and rough concrete do not open it up.

The patented pass-through wicking core is the other half. Wet grass, garden soil, and garage floor coolant soak into the mat and spread out instead of soaking through to your jeans.

Kneeling pad sizes

The REG 2-pack and 3-pack are the practical choice for keeping one in the truck, one in the garage, and one in the shed.

Care

Hose it off or hand wash it, then air dry. Mud and grass clippings brush off once dry.

Made in Medina, New York from 100% recycled polyester. The material started life as an industrial printer component and was repurposed after plant workers began kneeling on it.

Kneeling pad questions

Is it as soft as a foam kneeling pad?

No. It is firmer. That is what keeps it from compressing flat, and it is why mechanics and flooring installers prefer it for long days.

Does it get wet on soaked ground?

It absorbs the surface water and spreads it across the core, which keeps it off your knees. On saturated ground, flip it over between rows.

Can I use it as a work mat too?

Yes. The larger sizes double as a workbench mat or a garage floor mat.
